For once, I remembered .

For once, I remembered …Studio19.0binmigrationtool.exe and imported all the IDE tweaks and color settings I had in 10.1 Berlin to 10.2 Tokyo in a matter of seconds.

Lovely!

  1. Although it is nice to remember about the migration tool. It would be nicer if the installer would recognize that a previous version is installed and offer to run the migration tool.

  2. Does the Migration tool import your Desktops as well ? Just asking as I ran the export and import and it didnt do that for me. Had to manually create and reconfigure.

  3. John Kouraklis You run the newest version of the tool after you have installed a new Delphi. It is interactive and allows you to select the settings you want to transfer. I used the Migrate to a newer product version (not via export/import).
