Maaan, I so want a Pixel 2 XL!
Insane dynamic range and stabilization!
Unfortunately, no availability has been announced for Norway 🙁
I rant, therefore I am.

I’m not holding my breath, and keeping my 6P as happy as I can. I don’t think I can deal with going away from pure Android now!
Lexidh Solstad As a last resort, I am considering getting one in the UK. The teenager is a student in Liverpool. I’m not in a desperate hurry though, even if the battery on my 6P is showing signs of wear.
Lars Fosdal : I just got the battery on my 6P changed! Cost me 500 norske penger, totally worth it =)
Nice! Where did you have it done?
This is where I bought the Pixel XL. – https://www.unlocked-mobiles.com Got it for £662 plus Norwegian VAT this January. Considering buying the 2 XL and let my eldest son inherit this one, which would be a decent upgrade from his 5X although it’s aged a year. 😉
And no headphone connection…
John Magnus Steffensen It seems your link went missing.
Jeroen Wiert Pluimers I haven’t used a cabled headset for years now. Bluetooth FTW.
Lars Fosdal I forgot to paste it in, edited, so a refresh ought to do the trick 😉
John Magnus Steffensen – What do they mean with “SIM free” ?
Lars Fosdal Unlocked, as the default in Norway is. No carrier contract. 😉
I was wondering, since sim free phones – i.e. phones without a physical sim card – is an up and coming thing.
Lars Fosdal the kinds of “never connects when you want to”, “connected to different device”, “connected to two devices”, “bluetooth out of battery” wins? theverge.com – Bluetooth won’t replace the headphone jack — walled gardens will
Jeroen Wiert Pluimers – Currently using a Plantronics Voyager UC (http://www.plantronics.com/us/product/voyager-focus-uc?skuId=sku7140027) that handles both my phone and my PC beautifully. It automatically picks up when I put on the headset, regardless of if it is a phone call or a Skype call. It can be paired with two phones at the same time too. With 12 hours talktime, it is unlikely that I run out of battery. At the desk, it recharges in its cradle when I don’t use it. It also has pretty decent stereo / music specs too.

Oh, and it connects in well under a second from power on, and tells you by voice that connection(s) is(are) established and how well it is charged.
Lars Fosdal : At CC Hamar, they have this repair shop there. Contacted them about it and they ordered a battery for me and fixed it in under an hour =)
