  1. Ever since I was in the military, I’ve put little thingummies each in its own little plastic ziploc baggies, then all of them in one large baggie. Back then, it was to keep mud and water off everything – but it’s served me well ever since, keeping cables from going berserk. My entire cable collection is thus stored away in a big old box: when I need a cable, I just pour out all the bags onto the table, fish through them, find the one I want and shovel them all back into the box. Pointless trying to organise them further.

  2. … as for anyone who thinks we’re better off going wireless, it’s pretty obvious by now that using Bluetooth on anything is much akin to climbing up into the shop window at Tiffany’s on 5th Avenue and pressing your bare ass onto the glass. Originally, nobody gave a thought to security for Bluetooth – and nobody since has had an intelligent thought about security.
