There is a lot of intense staring (and waiting) in science, but these eggzamples are eggceptionally eggregious.
Rugger Ducky cluck off .. the chickens flipping them the bird (d’you get the yolk .. it cracked me up .. brought me right out of my shell .. ‘laid’ me out .. shall I hatch another ..)
It’s only an indication that artists’ depictions of scientists show them staring a lot. Now if they were to filter for genuine scientists and candid shots, they might see something about scientists.
