12.5% makes it fairly mild, but make no mistake – it still offers a bit of a punch.

I’d think 12.5% is right on the average for white wines?
Christian Conrad Dry Sauvignon Blancs and Chardonnays can be from 13 to 14%, so it depends on the grapes, the methods, and the traditions.
