Migrations within Europe, especially internally within the north or south, is not emotionally charged in the same way. Norwegians are not going “OMG the Poles are coming here and worshiping the Virgin Mary, hide the children!” But pull out a prayer rug and all bets are off.

Actually, the Swiss do very much care how many Germans immigrate there. They have created legislation against it.
