Marco Cantù calls for you to participate in the Code2012 poll!
Marco and Eric – FYI – by sharing to the Delphi Developers group, you still have ownership to the post, and in addition to reaching the community, the post also appears on your regular stream as a public post.

You mean, I can add the group to the sharing targets as I post to my timeline? Didn’t realize that!
Hmmm… I tried posting to public & the group but it refused.
And IIRC if it’s not public it can’t be re-shared? Or do you have to post twice? (once public, once on the group)
You can, but you can’t combine a community post and a circle post. By default, a post to a public community, becomes a public post on your regular stream. There have been some issues with +mentions – by which you have to get the publish to community reference in place, before you add +mentions to the post.
Eric – You need the group first, and then public is implicit.
So – to recap: When you post to the community group, under a selected category – the post will appear in the community stream, and on your regular stream as a public post. The post can then be reshared from both places (by you and others), if you want to share to a specific circle as well.
I will go now vote
Thanks!
