From the tutorial it sounded like this was for people using two fingers. If you do know qwerty, does it matter where the keys are located? I would like to try http://matias.ca/halfkeyboard/ but last time I checked they did not have a layout for my language.
Wouldn’t give up my Swedish keyboard for this … where’s the å? 😉
Good question. What about non-US characters?
I’ve heard quite a few people advocate for the speed of Dvorak style keyboards. The nice thing is, it’s just an option in your computer settings.
Using a Mac, characters like å just mean keeping the corresponding letter pressed. Not sure on Windows or Linux
That’s a workaraound Alessandro Mencarini … No, I actually have a Swedish keyboard with ä, ö and å as keys. If I were to write more French, I’d like to have the ç within easy reach, as it is on Swiss keyboards
Elisabeth Schabus not a workaround, I type a lot of Italian (lots of accents too) and English, both natural and for programming. Instead of switching layout all the time I use that feature, I have no problems with it.
