Treating the cause, instead of treating the symptoms.
by changing how and what you eat. To speed up the process, this guy recommends fasting – and his arguments sound reasonable to me – as long as you are otherwise healthy.

I’m doing the opposite, and improving. After a decade of diet, and a half decade of almost fasting, I think my body forgot how to deal with eating regular food, so I trying retraining it.
Joe C. Hecht – Do you have type 2?
Debating it. I have something that seems to cause it ad a side effect.
Hemochromatosis?
No. Been trying to find the cause for over five years (as of May 4, 2010). Not sure what it is, but I can go very high, very low, or just be normal. I am slowly getting better, and think some of it is due to eating more (and sometimes fasting). I had lost 315lbs previous to getting ill, simply by eating small portions very often (of good food). I think that was a bad idea, as my body got trained not to store back, then could not deal with a large meal, or “bad food”. If you eat no processed sugar for half a decade then eat a sugar loaded desert, it might kill you…
