I just spent three days in Oslo, at Tine’s main office, doing a workshop with the rest of the development team. Naturally, I did a handful of captures with my trusty old Nexus 4, walking around downtown before and after work. I do love these amazing stories that Google puts together for me!

Lars Fosdal I can’t believe my eyes. This looks beautiful. A story, you say? How did you do that?
nomad dimitri – When you upload your photos to Google, Google make up these automatically from your photos, their geo location, and captions, share posts and comments.

Lars Fosdal you are using the new google photos app?
Nope, this is “old school”. Works from Google Auto Backup, etc.
Lars, I loved it. For me, Olso is mysterious, distant town…from Sydney Australia just too far to go without a ski in ski out destination. It’s on my bucket list though…
Lars Fosdal so I made a story as well here: https://plus.google.com/+NomadDimitri/posts/Ya1KmULhcDf, but mine doesn’t work like yours. For one, I cannot open it in the G+ app. It doesn’t feature the book icon. It shows a .gl link in the cover. Any idea what I did wrong?
nomad dimitri – not sure why it doesn’t open in G+, it works when opened in Photos. It could be because Photos is being separated from G+ these days? Nice shots, though 🙂
Lars Fosdal thank you. This is what I suspect. If you have confirmation of this, will you please let me know? If you read something or of you do another story and it behaves like mine?
nomad dimitri – will do.
