This makes me a little antsy.
I don’t know about you, but I like ants – even though they can be annoying to get in the house. To see them cooperate like this, is amazing! They basically form a huge cleanup team that sweeps the neighbourhood for protein sources.

Intelligence in swarms is actually an area of study in itself.

Ants (and other social insects) are awesome and very interesting, but as with most arthropods I prefer to have them outside..

Until the little bastards build a nest in your yard and you dont know it, step in it and they swarm you and bite you and spit formic acid on you. Then you literally dance with ants in your pants. I had it happen a week ago, had welts for days.
They are pretty awesome creatures, even if they are pesty…
