The Moth
The other evening, my wife caught on video the biggest nocturnal moth I’ve ever seen in Norway. Does anyone know the species? It was really beautiful and hovered like a hummingbird. My guess would be a tip to tip wing span of about 80mm.

I think it could be a “Privet Hawk Moth” Ligustersvermer Lars Fosdal … 🙂
Can have a wing span of 12cm.
