It turns out that being arrested for taking a clock you constructed yourself to school, can have positive side effects after all. I bet there is a few Texan teachers and police officers squirming over this right now.

Take an obvious toy gun to school, get expelled. Take a fake bomb to school, get invited to meet the president. How crazy can this world be?
He didn’t make anything. He took apart an alarm clock and put it in a pencil case. Bogus science. The teacher acted appropriately when not knowing what it was. He’s just daddy’s puppet.
