What he said 🙂

Edit: On the serious side – the announced VR revolution will be slowed at such a price point. I might add that I have seen quite a few attempts at making VR go mainstream, and I’ve previously said that I think that also this attempt will be another failish meh, like 3D video.

Personally, I am a lot more interested in Magic Leap and HoloLens as there are so many more real world things applicable for Augmented Reality over Virtual Reality.

  3. How long was the PS3 at $599?
It could be a marketing ploy.
“That expensive? I’ll hold. Wow, they cut the price? So much cheaper now, and I need this!”

  4. who needs Oculus? when the average 13 year old can print out their own Raspberry Pi or indeed pistol, we might just be avoiding work, rather than buying into a “novel” technology.

    Rift is already out-dated defunct
