Why do I get this mental image of someone driving the bus into a ditch, and then running away from the responsibility?

Because he does. After driving the bus in a ravine.
I thought maybe he decided he was too tan and had too foreign of a surname for his constituents!
As he said more than once, he’s not a professional politician.
A well deserved rest, Nigel.
Many thanks, the exit wouldn’t have been possible without all your hard work and ‘commitment’ in the face of overwhelming criticism.
Nigel Farquad? 😉
So getting a non-binding referendum vote in and doing all the talking head stuff was the easy bit, and now that its done, it’s time to bugger off home and let someone else solve the hard problems he’s created.
Warren Postma All the talking head stuff? Really?
Obviously you don’t live in my country, you’re just an outsider with a grudge to bear. Nigel gave ’20 years’ to the cause of gaining our exit, and with the help of predominantly ‘working class’ people, it was achieved.
Balls to what outsiders like you think. TWAT!
TheVocalMale Firstly, please remove the insult.
Secondly, I’m outside EU, and I mostly enjoy being outside, and I still can’t figure out why the UKIP thought this was a good idea for England.
Basically, you either cut yourself off from your main market, or you sacrifice your say (through being an EU member) over the rules of EU to keep the access which means you still have to follow the EU rules.
This piece from Financial Times sums it up quite well: http://video.ft.com/5021373916001/Punk-FT-EU-models-for-a-post-Brexit-UK/Editors-Choice
You see that, I returned the ‘smug’ wink that you gave.
TheVocalMale Too bad. Bye.
+TheVocalMale Thanks for confirming the view that most outsiders have that the idiots have taken over Great Brexitland.
I fear his vocal cords have been removed.
