Movie of 4 exoplanets orbiting young star HR 8799 about 129 light years away, seen top-down from the vantage point of our planet. The movie took 7 years to make, all from images from the Keck Observatory in Hawaii. The closest planet has a 40-year orbit, so it’ll take 40 years to make a movie with one complete orbit.
