  1. The problem is backwards compatibility: So much of the Windows platform’s code is literally twenty years old. But it’s fixed in 10, so, as per usual, the answer is that Windows users really should be on Windows 10.

  2. Jake Weisz MS has done a lot with respect to security over the past decade, and as a developer you have to change your mindset when it comes to how you design your code. No more assumptions about intents, but always expect the worst.
