Ah memories
It definitively is not something I use every day, but I do wish I had teachers this good.
How to teach well is very difficult to teach. First, it takes someone with a passion for the subject AND a passion for teacing. Then, they also need to develop communication skills in support of those passions. Too many teachers–at least in my country–are mediocre in their subjects, and only luke warm about teaching. The result is predictably poor.
