I am amazed. Of all the perspectives I have either written or linked-to, re: the status and problems of our civilization, I did not expect that the most impressive would be written by President Barack Obama. Okay, he has helpers and access to every datum. Still, this assessment – thoughtful as his term of office is winding up and as his approval ratings reach for historic highs – is well worth your time and attention.
